Of course it could be simply that Jack Ross's agent is after more money and is saying Sunderland are interested, so ME has countered that if Jack Ross does not join us Frank Lampard has impressed. That is assuming the basket case club that is Sunderland is a more attractive club to move to than Town in Jack Ross's eyes.
