Whose your money on? on 08:12 - Feb 22 with 4866 views | Kropotkin123 | My instinct is to say Fury, as Wilder caught him with his best shot in the last round and he still got up. Fury is also in much better shape than last time.

My feelings too. Fury is the much better boxer and he seems to think intelligently about how to fight his opponents. Apart from Wilder’s big right hand, I’m not sure he has much else in his locker.

Whose your money on? on 08:29 - Feb 22 with 4813 views | Coastalblue | I see it going deep, and Fury feeling he needs to do a little more to make sure he gets a points decision leaving himself open and getting nailed late on. If it goes the distance Fury, but can see a later round KO for Wilder.

The one thing I worry about is Fury's eye injury from his last fight. If you are in Wilder's corner surely you should be looking to get him to jab or rub his head in this area? One decent contact and I can see that opening up like a grapefruit.

Whose your money on? on 10:17 - Feb 22 with 4671 views | Herbivore | It's a tough one to call. I expect Fury to win every round the fight lasts, but Wilder only needs to land one big shot and he can end the fight.

Dunno about that. Fury is 17 pounds heavier than last time and kept his top on during the weigh-in... That, combined with the cut, change of trainer, increased fame, short camp, and likelihood of a third fight, has me favouring Wilder for the stoppage. Wilder needs it more too if he's going to get a big payday with AJ.

Wilder's pretty much ducked every fight he's been able to make with AJ though, and there's a trilogy in this contract too. Would love to see either of them fight him though, obviously. My money's on Fury. I actually think he could get a knockout this time around having been working with Steward. Let's face it, Wilder isn't really even a boxer. His fight with Ortiz was hilarious, looked like he'd never put on gloves before but then just sparks him. He's a one-trick pony - it's a good trick, but I'm hoping Fury just outclasses him like last time.

My prediction too, stoppage due to cut, Wilder to target that eye.. Hope I'm wrong, would love to see Fury do it..

Of course, if anyone knows somewhere to watch this that isn't 25 quid feel free to drop a line.

I doubt there'll be too many who would want to see a trilogy after that mismatch. Fury should've won the first fight, he was better prepared this time round and Wilder couldn't get close to him. The only fight out there is a unification fight with AJ.

Whose your money on? on 08:45 - Feb 23 with 4212 views | DarkHorse | Enjoyed that. Fantastic performance by Fury. My prediction was way out Don't know where this leaves Wilder. If his ear drum burst early, that would no doubt have affected his performance, but that's boxing. This was so farcically one sided, there's no need for a third. His resume is sh*t and he holds no belts, so back to fighting old men and bums, I guess.
Whose your money on? on 08:57 - Feb 23 with 4179 views | Herbivore | Fury battered him. I expected him to be the superior fighter but I didn't think he'd hurt Wilder, once he was able to do that the fight was only going one way. Excellent performance from him. No real need for a third fight, in 19 rounds Fury has won all but about a minute and he'd have two wins against Wilder if the judges knew how to score a fight properly. Needs to get in with AJ now for all the marbles.

Haha. Going back to your OP, weight and shape aren't always correlated in boxing. I think this showed two things. One, Fury learnt how to beat him. Apparently he said he figured it out after getting knocked down in the 12th in the first fight. Two, Fury was nowhere near fit enough in the first, due to lack of fights and did not have a decent trainer* *The guy was fantastic in getting Fury back to loving boxing and it was what he needed at the time. But he isn't the best as we saw from the conditioning in his previous fight. Most will say Fury has won that fight twice now. So I can't see many interested in a third fight in the future. On that performance, I can't see AJ lasting 12 rounds against him. That's the fight that needs to happen now.

That’s really tough comments regarding Ben Davison, he did the hard yards in getting Fury back in shape. Let’s be honest, Fury won that first fight against Wilder with Davison in his corner. Perhaps the lack of boxing knowledge could be held against him, but he should be given high praise indeed in helping and motivating Fury back to the very top of the heavyweight division. I said he was fantastic and I mean it. I also gave the same reasons for saying he was fantastic. But there is still a difference it the two wins. Part of it is Tyson's overall sharpness, part of it is an increased understanding of his opponent and part of it is the trainer. For all the excellent things Davidson did, there is a reason why he is no longer in Tyson's corner. The fight before Wilder 2 really highlighted Davidson's shortcomings. From you comments, I assume we can both agree that vrs Wilder I and II doesn't happen without Davidson.

The most interesting thing there is the detail on the 30 day rematch clause. Will be ridiculous if Fury has to beat him a third time, but as we all know boxing at this level is just about money.

Fairly standard for the champion to have a rematch clause but given how one sided the fight was, and how easily Fury outboxed him for 90% of the first fight, I'm not sure we need a rematch. Saying that, I'm not sure where else Wilder goes other than trying his luck in a rematch.
