Been told by a Southampton fan at work that Pompey have been given 36,000 tickets for the Dulux Shield Final and that Salford have only asked for 6,000.
Meaning Pompey are likely to be given about another 30,000 or so. That's going to look insane if true. |  |

To be fair Salford has a relatively small population of 100k in an area dominated by Man U, City and even Liverpool. Up until very recently they were a small club even by National League standards. It’ll take time to build up their fan base but they probably will. |  | | |
