If worst case scenario happens and the football season is abandoned. What would be the likely outcome?
Teams go up and down in positions they are currently in? seems unfair!

Cancel all promotion and relegation? seems unfair!
But will definitely happen as Norwich are that lucky

As long as Liverpool don't win the league I don't care.

Liverpool would not champions of England but would retain their champions of Europe crown.

Surely just pause it all for the foreseeable and see how this plays out?

I sympathise with the smaller clubs, presumably paying staff and players without match day revenues but the FA need to intervene and sort that.

Football really isn't important in the context of all this.

Postpone the end of the season for three months.

Postpone the Euros until next summer.

Restart the 2019/20 season in late June with two games a week (Sat/ Sun and Tue/Wed)

Season finishes in 4 to 5 weeks (late August)

Start the new season after just one month break (They had a three month break in late March/April/May and part June)

No 2020/21 League Cup or Paint Trophy or whatever they call it.

Start the FA Cup in February open to only Championship and Premier League teams with absolutely no replays.

Just thought that up off the top of my head.

Yes the season is null and void no league winners, promotion or relegation you start the season again as normal later this year with the same teams in the same leagues.

Plus if we're really lucky Liverpool will fail FFP rules before the season restarts and they start the season on minus 20 points

I think there should be a financial responsibility for bigger clubs in the PL to help those lower down too.

Rumours going around that the Euros will be postponed for a year.

I'd like to see the season play out behind closed doors. Any games between teams with nothing to play for declared 0-0 draws.

But again that's assuming no players catch it, what happens if a team has players with CB and the whole team has to self isolate?

'Any games between teams with nothing to play for declared 0-0 draws.'

I'm down with this. Would be a dramatic uplift in ITFC form.

Extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures. If the new season has to be delayed, so be it. Keep the transfer window open right through to January.

Yes. This season should not be compromised. All fixtures should be fulfilled even if this mean a long delay.

They can "mess about" with next season as everybody will be on a level playing field and know the rules before the start.
