Carlos Edwards' ITFC XI.. on 10:38 - Apr 17 with 1206 views | bluefunk | Beat me to it - Martin wouldn’t even get in the current team, £ for £ the biggest waste of money we ever had, closely followed by Priskin, who I see was edged out by the prolific Jason Scotland in Carlos’s “best of”

If there's one player who personifies the waste, drift and utter lack of direction of the Evans era, it's Martin. He was bought essentially because of where he'd been as a youth team player, for an inflated price, swiftly dropped, loaned, did very little on the pitch and ultimately left for nothing. Carlos Edwards' ITFC XI.. on 11:07 - Apr 17 with 1160 views | Steve_M | Lee Martin aside most of those players were good for us at some point. Not sure about Delaney in ahead of McAuley though.

Carlos Edwards' ITFC XI.. on 11:11 - Apr 17 with 1153 views | Herbivore | It also shows how clueless a lot of ex-pros are. Lee Martin as a wing back is bad enough but he's also picked a side with only one midfielder and four forwards. Bizarre.

Or ahead of Chambo. Delaney wasn't very good here, he went on to do well at Palace of course but his Town career was far from a glorious one.

Be fair, it's still a more balanced side than any Lambert has managed in the last 18 months.

Fair play to Carlos though, he's self aware enough not to include himself...

| I survived Ipswich 0-0 Burton |

Carlos Edwards' ITFC XI.. on 20:35 - Apr 17 with 779 views | WD19 | Martin over Richard Stearman at RB!? I’m guessing he didn’t fancy Bullard much either.....
Carlos Edwards' ITFC XI.. on 22:21 - Apr 17 with 726 views | The_Last_Baron | There were enough good players during Carlos' era to pick a strong side, but I get the feeling he's taking the pis5. How about 4 4 2... Fulop, Edwards, McAuley, Berra, Cresswell, Walters, Skuse, Norris, Bullard, McGoldrick, Murphy. That team, with everyone fit and on form, would challenge for the top two in the Championship. [Post edited 17 Apr 2020 22:21]
