Why I think they should have just let this season in limbo until it could be finished. Not that I presented my view very well elsewhere and obviously there’d be a lot of issues surrounding contracts. But the financial reasons why the season needed to end will still be in place in September. | |

The issue is presumably the Furlough scheme. So long as they dont play, they dont have to pay much in wages.
They could have done a deal whereby all games were televised for £10 a pop on ifollow and recouped a good chunk of their losses- but still. |  |

As was said earlier, those who won’t play because they can’t afford to play without gate receipts should forfeit the games, I wonder how many default 3-0 defeats it will take before they change their minds |  |

The ifollow option is a way forward and most likely the easiest and more profitable option. The EFL have an opportunity to make this work but the biggest obstacle that the EFL has to overcome is....themselves. |  |
