Without trying to be too 'right on', if these claims are being made one really does have to ask whether a young white footballer in the same situation would have similar allegations leveled at them.

Arteta clearly doesn't rate him as he's hardly featured since Emery left. Probably a typical case of a young player who thinks he's a little better than he is & blames the manager for playing him in the wrong position, rather than trying to learn & improve. Under contract until 2023 so not going anywhere in a hurry unless a fee & presumably high wages can be agreed. Looks to me as if wing back could be his best position at the top level if he's willing to do the work.
