He's a good player. I don't think it comes as a great surprise that he's gone on to be very capable in L2 as he was a decent talent when he was here. The issue was were well stocked then and probably had our sights set a little higher at the time.
Wilson's very, very average. He's a bit of an old school blocker, pretty limited ability really and awful in possession. He's honest, he'll stick his head under most things and frankly, he's not dissimilar to Eastman in that respect. Decent footballers that should be plying their trade in the lower 3rd / upper 4th tier, but little more potential than that if you want them to start popping it out from the back like Franco Baresi. |  |
