The white teenager who shot at BLM protestors and killed 2 is being lauded as a hero by Tucker Carlson on Fox and across social media as a a guy who stood up for the side of Justice. He was there to support the police apparently. That kid wasn't even from the same state.
A guy from Patriot Prayer was shot and killed too. Patriot Prayer denied they are a white supremacist group but if you dare to check their website you'll be left with no doubt that they are.
You have to take a deep breath when hearing that Trump says all this violence is the Democrats fault when its happening during his presidency.
He's visiting Kenosha today to meet with Police and give a speech but is NOT going to meet with BLM or anyone representing the protestors. He is there to preach his Law and Order and defintely not to heal or unite the nation. He's just there to stir it up. [Post edited 31 Aug 2020 8:30]

Interestingly the last law and order president was responsible for Watergate. I agree with EG here. Even in the short version, the phrasing of "the better it is" suggests more of a polling/electioneering angle. And, as we know, they certainly haven't hesitated to try to make political capital out of it.
FWIW You can also argue the same for Biden putting the current state of the US at Trump's door. Donald's certainly made it a lot worse and inflamed the situation/increased the divisions for political ends but this is decades of policy coming home to roost. |  |
