We pay 10 quid a game for two divisions lower! And have a patchy stream and one camera angle which can't quite cover the whole pitch. I'm surprised that it is "only" 15 quid.

And how much TV money do we get compared to the premier league. ... before a ball is kicked.

Do our season ticket holders not watch for free? The premier league want everyone to pay

Yes that is rather harsh on the supporters in the PL with a season ticket. Although it was made clear to us on purchase that we would be able to watch matches on iFollow. Presumably the same promise was not made in the Premier League. Although I don't consider paying hundreds on season ticket to watch it on iFollow as "free". I did purchase it not expecting to be able to attend Portman Road again this year although it would appear to be for longer. [Post edited 9 Oct 2020 20:14]

Sky's pay per view in the PL was £10 through Now TV (well, £9.99). So that's a 50% increase in one season. Taking the piss imo. That just rams home how sh*t our coverage is for a tenner.

I think you should consider economies of scales though, a few thousand for our matches at best probably contributes just enough to pay for cameraman and equipment before a slice goes to iFollow and the club. The tens and hundreds of thousands who watch Premier League football must mean that a realistic charge would be well under a tenner when everything is divvied up.

How much!!!!! on 12:09 - Oct 10 with 683 views | Keaneish | Are there any movements or groups gathering support to boycott the PL in protest of what it’s doing to the game? Can’t find one anywhere but until fans take a stand against the gross financial imbalances and strains being put on the vast majority, this narrative is only going one direction.

I pay the £10. I get to watch every Ipswich match. I understand that most League One stadia weren't designed with camera positions carefully worked out and a media suite and on-site live broadcasting studio. And that 2 to 3,000 paying fans from the bigger clubs in the division make it an economic proposition with slim margins for iFollow. 5ish grand revenue a game for the bigger teams doesn't leave a lot to work with after paying for a camera operator for the day the streaming infrastructure to deliver it to 3,000 people and the commentary feed from the local BBC station. It's a low quality solution at about the right price. At £15 the most avid fans (away regulars and season ticket holders), and fairly committed fans (people who go several times a season and pay on the gate) will be able to watch every match for a fraction of the cost of a Prem season ticket. They will pay it. I'm surprised that the Prem teams didn't try to rinse them for more. The people who never go to games and watch on Sky or BT can still do that and will have the option of paying for key games at the end of the season, or on Boxing Day or whatever. £15 is less than a Tyson Fury fight which may only last a few minutes. And no travel costs, or "wet and windy nights in Newcastle", or 8 quid for a gristle burger or gassy pint or Carling. I actually think that there will be families who maybe go once a year to Man Utd, at a cost of 300 quid for a day out (including travel up from Surrey) who will now pay that and see nearly every match, especially when all the matches they already get on Sky and BT are factored in. I don't get how anyone can think that paying 50 quid to see a Prem game live is ok but 15 for a whole family to see it on demand is a problem. Which brings us back to player wages and agents. That bubble needs to burst.
