The VAR referee has used footage from a not in line camera filming at about 30 frames per second (i.e. within the range but not at the upper limit of the reception rate of the human eye) and fed this through a computer system to draw a, by definition, arbitrary line on a football pitch at an equally arbitrary moment in time to prove that Mane was an inch offside.

Offside is offside, apparently.

They can't/won't say anything is level anymore even if it means spending 4 minutes to find a 1mm difference.

I would change the rule so if they can't tell with just 1 line then it's level
