Credit for switching the front 3 round.... on 17:04 - Oct 17 with 1128 views | jayessess | Changing the forwards helped, but it was mainly the midfield being a bit braver on the ball and showing a bit more quality and fight that made the main difference. Think we must've found a different Emyr Huws to send out second half!

The midfield looked better because they had a focal point ahead of them.

Credit for switching the front 3 round.... on 17:08 - Oct 17 with 1057 views | RobTheMonk | It was a shade of Lambingo with the front three at the beginning. Sears should have been the obviously choice as striker and Judge out on the right. Edwards goes back to the left and lo and behold, he scores again. Right to change it in the game, but I think it should have been that way from the start. Huw's deciding to wake up second half massively helped too. Really enjoying watching Dozzell this season. Not all of his balls come off, but I'd much rather see some attempted forward passes that may get cut out or may play someone in than constant sideways shuffling. He's beginning to find the right balance and it's nice to watch.

Most of the sloppy midfield play first half wasn't about not handling the press rather the lack of a focal point, really.

Huws could be just beginning to get to match fitness. If he continues to make a bigger impression on games then he could be a very good player at this level. However, if Nolan is fit now, will he start ahead of Huws on Tuesday?

If we have a striker to pass to they can’t press quite as well. In the first half Judge was dropping deep and they just squeezed the play - that’s why the midfield looked poor, imo.

I think that was part of it. That said, I think Accrington had the option to do that second half, because there was still hardly any point in as going over the top of midfield with Freddie up there. The midfield still had to play through the same press.

It beggars belief that he started those 3 arse about face , surely he knows Edwards plays better on the left and Freddie down the middle , hopefully the penny has well and truly dropped !
