...lining up his next appointments before there is a vacancy. Hopefully he has done his groundwork already. Anybody seen the Cowley's shopping in Copdock yet?

We'll be making no movements on the managerial front anytime soon.

Lambo's at the wheel.

Fixers - you seemed to have fairly rapidly changed your view on Lambert. What is it that has pushed you over the edge?

Not looking to poke at all, just wondering what has changed?

Can't speak for Fixers but for a lot of people it seems to have been Tuesday and Saturday's performances plus the disgraceful treatment of Phil.

There was a definite hardening in mood on here on Wednesday and a seismic shift over the weekend.
The fact a number of prominent local media figures have spoken out about Phil's situation probably adds to that as well.

You are correct - I have. I will always be prepared to support the manager, and want nothing more than for them to succeed.
However, as said previously, I will also always be prepared to admit when enough is enough.
He has been dealt a very tough hand in terms of injuries, but the way he sets the team up is just too easy to play against. No opposition manager needs to know the team in advance, leak or no leak; we always play the same way - slow, pedestrian, predictable. There is no variation, and it seems that he has gone from one extreme last season to the other extreme this season - rigid 4-3-3 despite the players at his disposal. Added to that his constant description of how we are playing as 'brilliant' even when it is clear to everyone that it is far from that - he is either delusional or taking us for mugs.

The way the Club have treated Phil has certainly done them (him) no favours.

Treatment of Phil for me. I was in the out camp anyway, but not as vehemently as some. I was pleased that there did seem to be some sort of plan this season at least, although obviously concerned that it wasn't working too well! Resigned to being stuck with him really

Hamgate changed all that. Showed him to be petty, vindictive, and a total ass. Not someone I want as the figurehead of our club and not someone who's likely to inspire a team either. I think its probably a bigger issue for me than the terrible performance on the pitch.
