Possibly the best Star Wars spin off from the films.

It's decent and worth watching for a nostalgia blast and Grogu .... a bit samey each week though and some duff acting in places (Apollo Creed I'm looking at you). Good to see Gus Frings reincarnated and still as pschyopathic as ever...

The 2nd series has been much better than the first once they’ve got away from mando helping people each week plot line.

I love it! It’s made by total fan boys as well, one responsible for the also very good Star Wars Rebels and later series of Clone wars Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau and they both sidelined Star Wars CEO Kathleen Kennedy while making it.

The way they’ve kind of sidelined the Skywalker storylines and created new exciting characters makes it so refreshing. Suspect there will be a few nodes to Rebels in the season final in a few weeks.

It is better than the films, in my opinion.

Sounds like they’ve handed over the reigns to Favreau and Filoni for the tv shows as they seem to get Star Wars judging by the Disney announcements overnight. Obi Wan tv series will have Vader in it Hayden Christensen is reprising his role and there’s 10 other Star Wars projects heading for Disney +.

And Taika Waititi is doing a Star Wars film along with Patty Jenkins.

They have got to get it right after the last 3 films have all been disappointing.

Its ok but for a ski fi series it isn't as good as The Orville

No idea what Taika is up to but think the Patty Jenkins will be about Rogue Squadron in which case take my money now!

Obi Wan and Cassien Andor are both in production now and it looks like Bad Bunch is being finalised now to come out soon.

Think it’s also helped that George Lucas is a bit more hands on now in a creative advisor way.

It still is help people, get clue to next destination each week though, and the storm troopers are still the worst shots ever. But yes, there's a few more interesting missions than just riding into town and saving the locals. Getting the big frog and her eggs home was tense as I hate spiders...

Love it.

Acting a bit ropey in places but the nostalgia and nods to the past is spot on.

Going to sit down and watch this with my eldest over Christmas, we did the Disney trilogy at the cinema together but she's more into Marvel these days. Am hopeful that's it's as good as I'm reading as I've struggled to get into other teen-friendly sci-fi series like Titans and Umbrella Academy etc.

Good choice in them doing it. Favreau rebooted the Marvel films to an extent.

Star Wars Rebels might be a good place to start as well it might be a kids cartoon but it also nods towards its adults watching with kids as well ( also has a lot of well known actors voicing characters )
