changed and reset the new SIM card that came with it

it didn't work with old SIM card in which is why O2 suggested putting new one in? | |

I’m by no means an expert, but I had the same. O2 couldn’t work it out either, it just didn’t like it for some reason. They stuck a new sim in and it worked. |  |

I’m by no means an expert, but I had the same. O2 couldn’t work it out either, it just didn’t like it for some reason. They stuck a new sim in and it worked. |

Ahh, not the same as me. My sim just didn’t work in new phone, but they replaced for me.
Perhaps it’s a handset issue then? I’m no expert | |

Might sound a daft question, but is the SIM tray sitting entirely flush with the phone? I ask because I had this after I'd replaced the screen on mine, and there was a *tiny* bit of grit stopping the tray going 100% back in, so it wasn't making the connection. | | | |

Happy for you, but I've only ever had 2 apple devices (1 iPhone & 1 laptop) & had battery problems with both of them.
Laptop battery was dead on arrival & had to be replaced by them. Early generation iPhone (4?) battery on full charge only lasted 4 hours before it was empty. | |

Try going to Settings, Mobile Data, Network Selection and manually choose your network (rather than automatic) see if that works/helps |  |
