Think he probably could just send a couple of the loanees back couldn't he? Obviously we'd still be paying them, but really what on earth is the point in Matheson, McGuinness and Thomas being at the club, if they're not even getting in the 18? |  | | |

Not officially, but they could go back and train with parent clubs I think - would've thought Wolves would prefer that to Matheson training with our u23s. | | | |

Matherson is obvious cover for Chambers. Thomas will no doubt take Sears place in the squad. The only player on your list who is surplus to requirement is McGuiness. But he was brought into the club when Wilson and Toto were out with long term injuries. |  |

Needs to split the squad into two and have a back-up squad. Not "train with the U23s that's just patronising. But effectively a reserve squad between the first team and the under-23s.
Sending some (all?) of the loans back would help too.
It was refreshing to hear Cook say players make mistakes, none ever do it deliberately and he isn't going to single anyone out for making one. | |
