What have they done right as a matter of interest?
And why are you so confident they are going straight back up? I am not sure their fans will share that confidence. Very tight between the top 4 currently. |  |

Indeed, much of the dross is out of contract and I'm quite confident that Cook will either get something useful from Jackson or Norwood or they'll be gone over the summer.

Cook has had two games. He's come into a team pretty awful and we've ground out a point against the best away team in the league. It will take time to turn things around but i'm still hopeful of the play offs this season. |  |

What’s done is done. Awful owner, mess of a club that belongs where it is. For now. We won’t be here in 5 years time. Had we kept Lambert, we’d have been in League 2 the season after next or the one after that. I think we will do better than that now.
Even if the takeover is a load of noise by wind up merchants, which wouldn’t surprise me, I think Cook will get a team together by next season that will at least look like one and compete. There is a lot for him to do to clear out the dross and get things organised before he can do anything.
Despite a ludicrous number of players we are woefully short in so many areas of the team. Cook needs time and a bit of patience. I’m relaxed about it and a lot more optimistic than 10 days ago. [Post edited 9 Mar 2021 22:44]
