Does flogging old Pantera albums count as selling nazi memorabilia?

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Phil Anselmo's a good egg really.

But seriously, I think he only went a bit wacky later on, didn't he? And by a bit wacky I of course mean outwardly racist.

He was obviously dodgy as far back as '95.

I'm a bit conflicted on pantera tbh.

Obviously comes with baggage, but their music and lyrics often preached the opposite.

And they were a huge part of my early 90s musical journey.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

I remember a bizarre techno/gabba version of panteras feck1n hostile circa 1994-5. Use to make me smile

HE WAS DRINKING WHITE WINE. IT WAS JUST BANTER.

Annoying innit, I can't enjoy Far Beyond Driven anymore.

I quite like Burzum. Vaarg's YouTube channel is also unintentionally hilarious at certain points.

That said, I've never put a penny in his pocket so I'm happy enough to listen.

I struggle with NOFX and their lyrical content these days, let alone literal neo-Nazi Black Metal.

I guess when Vaarg wrote it when he was not THAT deep, but the guy was always a pro-authoritarian nationalist pr1ck and the early work was themed much around that.

I find NOFX really contradictory lyrically, sometimes profound but often garbage. I’ll confess I still bung on Punk in Drublic from time to time.

My eldest has just got really in to Bad Religion, makes me very proud to crank up Against The Grain in the car at his request. He’s 11.

Bad Religion are great, OK so they have made the same album about 10 times, but what an album!

Recipe For Hate, Against the Grain and Stranger than Fiction are my 3 go to albums.
