I don't think he does.
If he regretted the move he could have pushed for a transfer out of Toon, and that was never even rumoured.

That's not really a direct comparison though is it
One is our local rivals, the other is a global mega club with a pedigree of success. He also wouldn't have had to move given he was at Blackburn?
It's a bit like a top Ipswich based player rejoining us in favour of a top club.
