Well, Roy Hodgson's contract is up at Palace. Oh, hang on, that's a back room staff position. They haven't been told to find another club like the playing staff have...yet...

At the dinner table last night I said to my ten year old son "Alissons goal was a real 'Roy of the Rovers' moment".

He looked at me in the way that kids sometimes do, a sort of confused but "I want to understand" look.

"What is this Roy of the Rovers?"

As a football crazy ten year old, I wonder if I should have attempted to dig these out earlier - but where from?

Rumours that Billy Dane is in talks, but he's not interested in any new boot deal, as he'll continue to use his favoured ones once belonging to "Dead Shot" Keen...

Still exists. Think they’re books rather than a comic though.

Reely? I thought I had him hook, line and sinker...

As an aside, whilst I know Phil is fond of referring to goalies as glovesmen has he ever used the term keepnet for one or is that reserved for this when we catch Viz's finest?
