Just had a look at the web page for GBNews channel, not really sure what you mean by the filth peddled by the likes of them, it looked a pretty balanced view attacking the government as all channels do (unless you are Tory of course). I must admit to not watching the channel maybe if I take the time to I will understand where you are coming from.

I watched it a bit this morning. It was a bit like unprofessionally produced, seemed a bit low budget but in terms of content I don’t get what all the fuss is about.
Farage was presenting. In the half hour or so I watched he interviewed a Tory MP, someone from a trade Union and an academic who called a theory on housing put forward by Farage ‘stupid’ so it was all pretty balanced

Their concerns are very real. As opposed to their intellectual ability.

Calling far-right extremist Nigel Farage 'stupid' isn't 'balanced' it's 'basic common sense'.

Don't know why defender of Basic Decency Paz is upset at me using a term like 'far-right extremist' or even 'stupid' to describe Nigel Farage, a man who's given speeches(to massive acclaim) to actual nazis here.

I downvoted your comment because I do not agree with you that Nigel Farage is a ‘far right extremist’.

How are we defining 'far right extremists' right now?

Because, as a working definition 'given standing ovation at German far-right AfD election rally'(not my words, the words of famously leftish Sky News, seems to fit.

Giving pro brexit speeches makes one neither ‘far right’ nor ‘an extremist’.

AfD are not ‘actual Nazis’. They are a right wing party similar to UKIP or the Brexit party. They clearly had some issues with members in their early stages which Farage addresses in the article you have kindly linked.

Steve Bannon and Dominic Cummings may well associate with known Nazis and attend conferences on eugenics but that doesn't mean Uncle Nige is like that.

I presume you've watched the above interview with JOB? Farage does come across as quite the bigot.

''They are a right wing party similar to UKIP or the Brexit party.'

Yeah, that's not really the strongest 'they're not nazis' defence I've ever seen mounted, given the level of open bigotry that you can see in both of those 'parties'.

Farage has repeatedly allied himself with far-right parties - if you hang out with fascists, have dinner with fascists then you’re a fascist.

He has demonised non-English people’s, demonised immigrants and demonised Muslims. He’s far-right, deal with it.

Actually I think you're right on this one, Paz Man, really I do.

He isn't far-right, indeed he's not even right-wing. All he is is an opportunist who'll say anything to get morons to vote for him; he doesn't really believe half the sh1t he comes out with, but hey, he can always kick back with his EU pension in the full knowledge certain people have given him a free ride through life by believing his rubbish.
