Would be surprised. This seems to relate to clubs massaging their accounts, both Derby and Sheff W sold their grounds to related parties for what appear to be over-inflated fees so that they could stay within the EFL financial rules.

We do not own our ground, so that counts us out. Nothing in the club accounts appears strange, we just built up a large debt to the owner, which is allowed.

That was what I was thinking…wasn’t their wage bill 200% of turnover at some point?

It’s unlikely to be us because in comparative terms Evans wasn’t a big spender by Championship standards
