Wow that is horrendous. You really have to feel the ref was looking for a reason.

Poll: Hurst or Ross, discounting any other candidates?

Sorry, but the linesmen was as much to blame for not telling the ref he was wrong and the ball was still in play SMH

I disagree. Even if the ball had gone out, it would have been blatantly clear that the player was trying to keep the ball in and then Wordsworth was not just kicking it away. The fault lies entirely with the referee.

They'd all laugh at me if they knew what I was trying to do. To create a new strain of super-wine in half-an-hour with a fraction of nature's resources and a FOOL for an assistant. 'Bernard Black, he's mad,' they'd say, 'he's insane, he's dangerous.' Well I'll show them! I'll show them all!

Not as lame as Beckham's little kick against Argentina. But I do fell for Anthony there, he's been stitched right up. A bit like baldy/beardy fella who went after Judge, looked like he was trying to settle a score there.

Keith Stroud would have been on cloud 9 with that one.

He kicked the ball after the whistle.

I still think it was a brutal decision though.

Common sense failed here, however the ball was kicked after the whistle went which the ref interpreted as it being kicked away.

Completely should not have been a yellow card as the ball had not gone out but I can see why the ref would book him.

You play to the whistle nothing else.
