Hey I heard a very weird piece of goss yesterday and I have no idea if it’s true but it sounds legit. Anyway apparently Rolls is the fitness guy right? Or one of the others? Anyway he has a say in the team selection effectively, as if a certain player for eg Chaplin is within a certain % of the “red zone” he is not available for selection regardless of if the Manager or player thinks he is ok. This allegedly is why Edmundson isn’t playing at the mo.

Think that’s a good thing and is exactly what we’ve been missing.

Professionals in a job advising the correct thing to do. As opposed to the Sunday league set up we’ve had in recent years.

I’m not sure what Edmundson has been doing this week, but in the build up to the game last weekend where Cook had said he had been training … he was actually only doing bits on his own and not part of the group.

As I say, not sure where he’s been this week, but hopefully with the first team and the sooner he’s involved, the better.

I thought Cook pretty much admitted that last week, certainly implied that GE being held back so that would make sense.

Cook seems old school enough to push players who say they’re ok into the team whether they are or not.
