I remember in the late 90s our French friend were puzzled when we burst out laughing. They were showing an article that was about how French politician Lionel Jospin was copying Tony Blair.
Photographed him about 12 years ago when he was working with the homeless charity Shelter.
Genuinely one of the nicest celebrities I ever worked with in 20 years as a professional photographer. Spent about 20 minutes with him, and when I said I was done, he repeatedly asked if I was sure and that he didn't mind doing more.
Watched him do the same with every person he dealt with that day.

How old was he? Go on, give us a clue.
(You're too young to get that).
The "Sound Charades" round on BBC radio's I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue was always compared to ITV's Give Us a Clue, with Humphrey Lyttleton (and, later, Jack Dee) making reference to Lionel such as this classic...
"The experts' expert on Give Us A Clue, was Lionel Blair. Who can ever forget opposing team captain Una Stubbs sitting open mouthed as he tried to pull off Twelve Angry Men in under two minutes."
