Must say compared to Penney he filled me with confidence with his defensive duties and attacking wise was surprisingly useful and also worked well with Edwards.

Think upon the evidence of Tuesday night, Burgess is the ideal full back to have against teams willing to pump it long at every opportunity. The Wycombe’s, the Rotherham games in particular. I think away from home against teams like that, whose first thought is hoofball and nothing else, think he is a perfect LB.
Against other teams - ‘lesser’ teams, ball playing teams then i think Coulson, Penney, KVY take centre stage. Would be very interested in a KVY/Janoi pairing at LB/RB, because we know KVY played their his whole career with Colchester. Think that could be a strong possibility in the future, with Kane ducking inside with a trademark step over to shot with his stronger foot |  |

Don't think so as i'm sure Coulson's attacking ability makes him our first choice left back but i do think it worked well Tuesday evening late on Burgess was great both in the air and on the ground when we were under pressure for a while . I think if we are leading with 20 minutes to go Cook might well see the sense in boosting our defence with him. |  | | |
