A few years ago, going through some stuff which belonged to my Grandfather, we found a 1912 newspaper reporting the sinking. At the time he would have been 15 and working at the Brudenell Hotel, Aldeburgh, Cubitts or had just started at the Corporation in Ipswich. |  |
