Firstly - admire the enthusiasm of the BA group for wanting to do something but;
1) to use that much plastic and have the club support that is awful. So much more sustainability
2) this was supposed to be the rainbow laces match? 22 other games in the season to have done something like that but instead it overshadowed that.

I do - more than I should in day to day life but try to re-use as much as possible.
Not being 100% perfect doesn't mean I can't comment on the use of thousands of single-use plastic sheets when there's a perfectly good alternative (card). | |

The laces are just a part of the campaign, it started a few years ago with just the laces but now it’s a much bigger thing, rainbow corner flags, rainbow captains armbands and rainbow graphics on Sky Sports I’d say that’s all much more visible and better than the laces. Can imagine a lot of players don’t want different laces in their boots for whatever reason - superstition et el. | |
