The list here seems way off. At least half of these have no chance of getting the job. Unless McGreal gets it permanently, I think the only one on here that’s a realistic shout is McIness. Warnock wont work under this structure, Carrick and Lampard wouldn’t take it. I think Alex Neil would actually be a good appointment but given the Norwich connection that’s a non starter.

Yes, I agree. It’s just a list of available managers.
Still, quite useful to think about what we need. Bruce has retired, no? But I think we need someone with experience and a bit of presence — someone who can get the players’ confidence up. The personnel is already there.
