Out of all the ex Norwich linked he would be the one that I wouldn't mind.
In all fairness to our friends from up the a140 the only manager I can think of them that has failed since 1980 is Gunn. So they have appointed well.
His style is pretty turgid. Like Mick, it would be ok, whilst we are winning but we need to appoint a manager,s coaches who have a similar style rather than ripping it up every 18 months or so to bring in a certain style of player whilst flipping between styles.
For me personally, this would be the worst appointment of anyone linked so far for a multitude of reasons. The sad thing is I wouldn’t be surprised if he ended up here.
He's up there for me. If we're going down the pragmatic, solid defence first managerial appointment, he's basically McGreal but with a demonstrable record of taking clubs forward, at a top level. Brighton fans don't love him, but on paper he did a good job there by getting them to the PL and keeping them there. He's in that bracket of managerial style where if they were a colour it would be magnolia, but perhaps that's what we need if it gets us out of this division.
Among the crock of underhwhelming sh1t we're going to be linked with, he's probably one of the best of the bunch IMO.
