I met him, briefly, in Yarm in 1997 when having a business lunch with his Insurance Broker.

Seem to remember something involving Steve Evans and the Boston owner about 10 years ago.
Pretty sure one or both narrowly avoided prison.

You've jogged my memory - yes, I seem to remember hearing or reading that.

A tradesman doing a one-off job here years ago was a Darlo fan, said they all hated him by the end - he treated some people pretty badly. Can't remember the details, probably just as well.

I would imagine Joey Barton ranks fairly highly on this list.

Didn't 'Arry avoid conviction because his dog did his tax return for him or something? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-16925280 for anyone who is unaware of the actual detail.
