Where was Fraser yesterday? 10:28 - Jan 9 with 2078 viewsKeaneish

Was he dropped, injured, sick or is there any truth in the Swansea link? I’d have thought he’d be a shoe-in for a place on the bench instead of Carroll give how McKenna and Pert set that midfield up yesterday.

We always looked to have too many number 10s, and if the formation KM has used so far is his preferred set up then there is no scope to shoehorn them in as a wide AM, so we have too many players looking to play the role Aluko had yesterday.

If there is truth in the Swansea link then maybe it would be a good move for all and give KM the scope to bring in players he wants to strengthen elsewhere.

If he wanted to go our squad could certainly live with his absence. That said I think his ability could really work in one touch McKennaball so I’d love to see him get a go

Could help fund a deal for Walton.

Yes i agree . I think it is clear we would like to do deals to make sure Walton and maybe Bonne are made our players but maybe also looking to add to midfield ? Evans good yesterday as they all were but has struggled sometimes . Harper and Carroll are yet to prove themselves at Town , maybe they will be better with the new set up ? but if not their might be room for improvement in that area especially as we have not seen Nolan for a year .

The main problem Fraser has for me is that his best roll is an attacking 8 or a number 10 as part of a 3.

Number 10 slot - Aluko (playing fantastic stuff and just oozes class).
Connor Chaplin - Clearly capable at championship level let alone league one.
Santi Celina- Arguably a luxury player at this level but you can't leave him out long term.
Then Fraser.

It's gonna be easier arguably to get into a championship Swansea side than ours.

If we get a good offer, Maybe we use the funds elsewhere (Walton/Bonne) permanent deal?.

Poll: Apologies I'm bored. How many signings will we have by Plymouth at home.

Where does Fraser fit in to the current side? Aluko or Morsy's position? For me, he doesn't start if everyone is available. However, KM has had such a positive impact on a lot of our squad, I'm not ruling him out just yet.

Fraser is another option in CM, he said that is favour position is as an 8 and not a 10.

Which is why I was surprised he wasn’t included yesterday.

I dont think any of us really know, as we have mainly seen him play out of position in poor PC teams.
