Good to see you, Smoker. How are you getting on with all your sausage casserole mix? It's what enquiring minds want to know.

it’s over lads (n/t) on 16:00 - Jan 29 with 1700 views | Nthsuffolkblue | I still maintain it was over before Cook was sacked. Very impressed with how quickly McKenna has turned it around and therefore the glimmer of hope that I was wrong. However, we all know by now, it is the hope that kills us. COYB, prove me wrong and get out of this league this season after all.

We can afford to lose potentially 6 games. It’s not over every time we go a goal behind. This game is far from essential to win but a bit of a MK tinkle at HT and we can find a goal from somewhere. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

My working is not that losing one match changes things, just as winning a couple did not either. As I stated, we have too much to do from before Cook left. Not mathematically but realistically. We need a win percentage of around 67% to get into the play-offs. It is only the fact that McKenna has managed to do that so far that gives me a glimmer of hope. However, it is only a glimmer. However, if he is still achieving it at the end of March then I will believe.

My stash of sausage mix is slowly vanishing. My friend with the Macro card - that's a cash 'n' carry outfit - has moved to Leeds and I think we should wait and watch for his explanation on the episode of Ripleys Believe it or not. So, where to buy the next 2 years worth of supplies? Googling 'spicy sausage' gives clickbait that when opened results in NSFW. This saga shall continue.

This is why you're one of my favourite TWTD posters. Although that is damning with faint praise. If I hear of any wholesalers who have the sacred powder, I shall get in touch. A bloke in the local before Christmas let me in on a place that sells traditional homemade white pudding - so these things do happen from time to time.

it’s over lads (n/t) on 17:05 - Jan 29 with 1067 views | Radlett_blue | Town need around 82 points to make the play-offs, which means taking 41pts from the last 17 games. Not impossible but highly unlikely given that even the most consistent sides in this division are averaging just over 2 points per game.

You can't take individual results on their own it's about the trajectory, which has been upwards since McKenna took over, we cannot win every game, we will play badly occasionally, so we will lose games, but until its mathematically impossible... Town still have a chance. We gave up far too soon last season, keep going till its not possible, and just enjoy being competitive again even if we don't make it. Remember today was the chance Town could have won 3 consecutive games and its been so long since we've achieved that no one can really remember what that felt like. That wait still goes on but just don't give up now.
