One last thought on today, and our season dying in the last few games 15:26 - Apr 16 with 1036 views | Dubtractor | We shouldn't forget that McKenna is a rookie manager, every game and scenario is a new one for him where he needs to make decisions to change things. Sometimes he'll get it right and other times, like today or Cambridge, he won't. He needs time to learn from these situations, to do things differently, to be a bit more gung ho at times if needed. It's obviously frustrating to end another season well off the playoff pace, but I'm sure we've all seen anough from McKenna to be positive for next season? I for one am hugely excited for next season, can't wait to see how we do.

This pension lot aren't going to take league 1 football for to long. Yes he's young. Yes he has to learn. But he's got to learn quick. At present he's not showing any signs of learning other than setting up how he wants and seeing it out. Our results have got worse. The goal scoring has got worse. Our set pieces are still sht. So what is he learning and changing as it's not showing. I still love the football he tries to get us playing and when we do it's fantastic. But he's got alot to learn quickly otherwise its going to be a short partnership imo.

His post match was bang on today. He’s aware of the lack of fight and physicality, he’s aware of the fact we are not converting chances or good attacking positions into goal. This league is bl@@dy hard to get out of, and next season will be even worse. I’m not confident of top two, but I think play offs are very realistic. McKenna will continue to learn. And I think he knows what needs fixing in the squad. Which I think may be 4 signings of real quality. We cannot be so reliant on Morsy and Burns to drive the team forward for instance. COYB

Being aware is one thing doing something about it is another and so far we've just had the occasional change of striker or continued use of the same baron attacking players behind them. We've got 3 sides at itfc. Can't do harm to try something different.... Lambert was aware of our failings. Cook shared fans frustration and was aware of our problems. Let's just see how he gets on with this awareness.

Because the last three experienced ones did such a great job. Honestly, at least Fishers was funny when he was trying to be all contrary, Chris.

That's exactly the point BB. Being aware sounds great to fans. But just being aware won't win you promotion.

One last thought on today, and our season dying in the last few games on 19:29 - Apr 16 with 673 views | Swansea_Blue | I think the most important point to remember is that our season hasn’t died in the last few games. It died in the first 20 or so. McK gave it a damn good go at playing catch up but it’s a jump to far. Results wise, he’s done better than any manager in recent times for us so there’s plenty to be positive about despite today.

That first sentence is just pointless. Regardless of what you think we need, he IS a rookie manager and he will make mistakes and hopefully learn from them. Regarding the patience of our owners, I think we can all be confident that if we're sat in 10th position after 43 games next season that McKenna will prob be out of a job. But for now he very clearly has the support of the owners and chief exec/chairman, plus the vast majority of our support. So let's not get too down about missing out this season, and all get behind the team for next seasons promotion charge.
