I'm not a fan of heavily using a town's coat of arms, so Sutton United and Accrington Stanley lose points there. Hartlepool United's modern badge looks like it should be the branding for a spa retreat. I think Blackburn's badge looks dated now, and the wording on Peterborough's badge could do with a rework. Also, Sheffield Wednesday ditching their '70s stylised owl badge was unfortunate.
But I think the answer is Cambridge United.

Cambridge have had that for as long as I can remember, which got me wondering: which team has had EXACTLY the same badge the longest. I mean, yes, Liverpool have had the Liver bird since the dawn of time but sometimes it's in a shield, it's had a banner over it with YNWA on, sometimes it's just had LFC over it.
Think Southampton might have a good shout, can't recall them having anything else, and after checking, can confirm it was there in the 1976 Cup Final. [Post edited 3 May 2022 20:33]
