...recieve any sort of parachute payment.

Don't think they do, but not sure...

I’m guessing only if they get relegated twice in a roll. So, in theory a team can be in L1 but still receive two seasons lots of parachute payments.

I could well be wrong.

No parachutes, I think the 3 teams that come down get the largest chunk of League 1 rights money though, something like 11%, which was circa. £800k when we came down. Bit drop from the £8m a year you get in the Championship.

Pretty sure this happened with Wolves when they won League One with over 100 points.

Didn’t we also get an extra allowance in FFP limits, as I remember we had to significantly cut the wage bill one summer. Or maybe that was because of a change that affected all clubs? I didn’t pay much attention at the time, but Phil’s probably got an article on it.

Yes, the salary threshold for a relegated club is 75% of their turnover (plus any other cash injections the club gets) rather than 60%.

It also used to be the case that you didn't have to count anyone who was contracted prior to September of the season you were relegated (so, pre-September 2021) in this case, but that no longer appears in the regulations on the EFL website.
