Think it's because of his injuries, more than anything. Had he not have had them, I know people at the club think he'd be a regular in the first team by now.
He had interest from 3 top half Championship clubs. They sent scouts to a few under 23's backs at the back end of their season, but probably felt with his injuries he's had he wasn't worth the risk just yet. | |

Ha, only speculating buh. 'Swap' deals are notoriously hard to do, so I imagine both deals would be separate if they were to happen.
Wouldn't surprise me if Luton came back in for Simpson, now they can't get promoted to the Prem. Think they made an offer for him in January, which has lead to the situation were now in with him. | |

Can’t help thinking Posh would be a better move for him. One division up from where he was before Christmas and they have a great record of developing raw strikers. From what I’ve seen he has the raw materials but planets of finessing to happen. Can’t see him starting in the Champ next season. |  |
