Liam Rosenior as Derby manager on 16:59 - Jun 26 by Chrisd
A baptism of fire. Couldn’t get a tougher gig to start his managerial career.
Not sure. Must be tough situation to be in but there can't be any pressure of expectation currently.
I also think he comes across as a thoroughly decent chap who has done a lot to gain experience and qualifications so I hope it works out well for him (whatever that look like).

It's not really justified under the circumstances, but I reckon there will be more pressure of expectation that Derby should bounce straight back up than people think.

Simon Jordan on Talk sport reckons Derby will walk the league especially with their 28,000 crowd backing them. But didn’t see why Rooney left.
Is this because they expect the new regime to firstly get in place before the league loses patience; secondly to continue the policy of bankrolling success to a level the club cannot afford and breaks all the rules (and previously spectacularly failed too); and the EFL to continue to make no further points deductions?
Sometimes I think (as much as I don't like him) Jordan speaks a lot of sense. Then he comes out with something like this.
If I was a betting man I would look at Derby's relegation odds before their promotion ones (although I am fairly sure I would not be tempted by either).
