There is too much. The point is supposed to be to give clubs time to move on high earners without crippling themselves, not pocket money to go and blow on signings nobody else in the division can afford. It gives far to much advantage to those with sound financial management and a buffer to those who are chancers. |  |

Does seem strange and a gamble, but then they usually pull a rabbit out of the bag just when you think they're on their way down.

This one reeks of a director determined to come back from Brazil with the player, whatever the price, just to appease disgruntled fans. Be interesting to see how long it is before his injury resurfaces.
