Generally I much prefer a male singing voice but I'm spending the day listening to birds.
Thinking about it some of my faves are women people.
Kirsty, Chrissie Hynde, Janis Joplin etc
And let's not forget Suzi!
They do love a good sing song. I'm often in Wales and there is usually some sort of Welsh musical festival on the go, accompanied by flags and national symbols carved into the hill sides.
As for Suzi Quatro, leather clad on top of the pops caused the young GeoffSentence the feel the first stirrings of something odd, which has remained stirred ever since.
Goose bumps (and bucket hats). Probably helps if you’ve got a Welsh connection.
They even get their anthem so right, the band knows it’s best to shut up and just listen.
They like a bit of Hymns and Arias too (I was in in the middle of this and it was nuts; 4th favourite match after our PO semi against Bolton, our PO final and their PO semi against Forest).
And then we have our national anthem dirge and ‘Delia is a whore’.. About time ASA wrote some new songs for us!

I saw Yr Ods last month, didn't understand a word but the noise was fine. This is more my style these days though:
Don't talk to me about harps! Mrs Swanners and and our youngest are both harpist. It's a pain in the butt to move a full size concert harp around - the tin whistle would be a lot easier.
