I’d say they can’t be far off having sent all the pre orders out now if they did them in order date as I got mine this week and ordered it on the last pre order date |  |

I was thinking this myself last weekend, I think they probably should do for some of the away clash matches, however I wonder if they are allowed to unless it was registered at the start of the season as a kit that would be worn this season as iirc teams have to register their kits for the season | |

It was a bizarre choice for a third kit. I can’t think of an occasion where both the first and second kits will clash with the opposition this season. A light kit would have been useful for occasions such as Plymouth last week when the problem was both shirts being dark rather than the colours clashing particularly, but we’ve given ourselves three flavours of dark shirt.
I imagine it will be worn a few times unnecessarily, when the blue or red/black kits would have been fine, just to justify its existence. [Post edited 1 Oct 2022 10:07]

Ah… I wasn’t AT the game… I saw it on Twitter. These are two teams in the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division, which is the same division Ipswich Wanderers are in. Wanderers are away at Ely City today - which likewise, isn’t on the doorstep! (Not that it matters to me today, as I’ll be at Portman Road!) | |

depends who we get drawn against in the cup maybe ?
its down to the ref isnt it ultimately, and there just in case.
from the way planet blue was setup last weekend, upstairs section for the shirt printing area barried off, 5 staff standing around ready to leap into action to get you the shirt, and a queueing system...which seemed somewhat daft as I was literally one of only 10 or 20 it looked like theyd served all day.
I suspect alot of people still havent collected their shirt, and were probably waiting till this home game.
