I think he might start tomorrow. With McKenna’s comments about it being a younger squad and being almost guaranteed to get through to the next round so Hladky can play the knockout games, it seems like the ideal time. I can’t see him getting on the pitch this season otherwise.

Would make more sense to start Hladky.

Truly impaired.

Let’s hope he is a better goalkeeper than TV/Radio commentator.

Personally would go with experience through the spine, not so much to win the game but if you're putting some kids in at the back its probably fairer to have a more seasoned keeper behind them helping to talk them through. Obviously Keogh will do that too.

I would go something like Hladky - Keogh - Camara - TJJ - Jackson down the spine and then kids + KVY around them.

There's really no need to risk TJJ and Jackson in this one, surely? We've already won the group, haven't we? Hladky, Keogh and Camara makes perfect sense though.

It is a risk, you're right. I just think if you're going to start 4 or 5 young lads you need enough senior players around them to make it a more meaningful experience. I'm not sure who would play in the #9 if its not TJJ or Jackson.

Personally I'm not a huge fan of TJJ, appreciate I might be in the minority, but he's not a player I want to see much of moving forward. Think Edwards has firmly overtaken him as that creative 'wild card' off the bench. He doesn't look after the ball well enough for me and he's not great with his back to goal. I certainly don't see him as a 'number 10' and not sure he's shown enough when played up top. We've only got 5 league games between now and December and with Aluko hopefully back this side of Christmas, and Camara getting fit, I can see TJJ's chances limited in the 2nd half of the season.

Having an experienced goalie in is going to help any youngster in the squad who is playing.

I think McKenna also said he wants a team the youngsterts who are picked can strive in so its not going to be all youngsters.

I would definitely pick Hladky. He doesn't play mant games and we need him match fit more than Hayes

Giving game time to players on the fringe is good for them.

I thought he was the only forward who drove into the box Saturday and looked the most likely of all to score ! Maybe Jackson on helped that I suppose .

Hladky helps with the four players rule.
He has over 40 first team appearances so ticks a box saving us fine
