Although for Labour supporters, and for the country as a whole, it is better if she is the one leading the Conservative Party into the next election. The bigger farce is that the next election will not be later this year.

It is genuinely mental that she is trying to claim some kind of moral high ground for having 'done the right thing'. In itself it just confirms that she did the wrong thing in the first place, against overwhelming advice not to, and without doing any due diligence at all to check if it would cause problems.

Just GTF out of here you hapless idiot.

"I am sticking around because I was elected to deliver this for the country"

No.

No you weren't

Not really.

Having a small majority of conservative members voting for you is not an actual mandate for the country.

GTFO.

She is fecking useless, but being able to admit your mistakes and amend them (ie u-turn) should be seen as a strength, not a weakness.
Its just advisable not to make too many of them in the first place.

On the whole, I agree about u-turns, but in her case, her mistakes were fundamental to her election and also her whole plan of govt. Without those policies, she's nothing and there based on no mandate. She really has to go.

'She is marginally less incompetent and stupid than you lot think' isn't quite the stirring defence you think it is.

The narrative now seems to be all about "being prepared to take tough decisions", but it's just meaningless nonsense attempting to cover up that they're bad decisions. Every PM has to take tough decisions, that's the job FFS.

It's like me claiming I've done well because I was prepared to put pants on today.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

They're clearly going to go back on their promise on the triple lock next week aren't they? "F**k the poor" will be a very obvious statement.

Well they do like a 3 word slogan and that one seems their best and most truthful one yet!
