Bit difficult to say but see.s as if he is on a short term contract ,we have had the chance e to get a good look at him in training and of course KM would have spoken to Carrick. So on the surface it seems a no brained. |  | | |

Luongo has quality and Championship experience. Were Ball and Camara fit, we would not even be looking. The potential signing of Taylor is intriguing. Going into next season we would have the following under contract competing for a central midfield spot:
Morsy, Evans, Ball, Humphreys, Camara, Taylor, Harper & El Miz. And what if Luongo is a revelaton? |  |

I make you right. Shame though, El Miz is decent. Harper should be immense but it's all gone wrong. Not sure about Ball but several will be surplus to requirements for sure. | |

Always thought our biggest problem is if Morsy gets injured. If we can get Luongo fit (and that might be a big if) he looks to have similar attributes, and could solve that potential issue. I doubt he's on too much, so seems like a great bit of business. |  |

I am probably way off but Ball is Champ quality, and he’s younger than Morsy. For an Ipswich team based around a squad, building for the Champ there is space for 3-4 decent central midfielders which is what we have when fit, Morsy, Evans, PanCam, Ball and a youngster Humphries. Look at our final seasons in the champ we had very poor central midfield options and hence the team didn’t function. | |
