Burns and Harness were immense and causing all sorts of problems, absolutely running the show - and Ladapo was a constant thorn in their side. We looked very fluid and the atmosphere was fantastic. Now this isn't a direct criticism of McKenna as for all I know those players may have been dead on their feet but the subs didn't work, we also don't seem to tick without Morsy on the pitch. Hirst was an odd one, I've no doubt he will be an asset but he looked like a square peg in a round hole ......although it has to be said that the elongated injury treatment really messed the momentum up - both on and off the pitch.

Its the first time I've been at PR for a few years. Atmosphere was strange. in SARU, can't really hear the North stand, and as others have said, on the few occasions when it felt like the other stands were starting to join in, the chant changed. I think only once, a " Come on you blues" echoed round the whole stadium, and it was epic. We need to harness that noise more. I thought Harness' first touch was generally dreadful, and although he did some good things, he also lost the ball a lot. Burns was threatening without delivering until the goal, but also, looked like he was managing an injury, so no surprise to see him go off. Ladapo held the ball up well, but didn't really cause them problems in the critical areas. Agree that the long stoppage killed momentum. I liked what I saw of Hirst, intelligent movement. He created the chance for Morsy, and made another good run to the near post, which is something we've been crying out for ( I think he poked it wide, but its not on the highlights). I was really impressed with Argyle. Thought they knocked the ball about really well. However, other than the hitting the bar effort, and the goal, we handled them well. 2 decent teams cancelling each other out. Would have been an excellent 3 points, but the manner of conceding another late equaliser was gutting. Like others have said. a point against the league leaders isn't the worst result in the world, but in the context of the last 6 weeks, its another 2 points frustratingly dropped

When we took those two off at the same time, we took our two best players off, in my opinion, and we were never the same again. It could be that they were running on empty, but if the substitutions were made just for the sake of it, they were a mistake.

I thought we lacked composure at times, especially the first half, with too many miscontrolled or misplaced passes. Harness a notable culprit here. I do wonder if the pitch is not helping our style as Plymouth, Mumba a number of times, also struggled at times. Plymouth are a decent side and we largely cancelled each other out. Aside from their goal, Hardie missing a sitter and Burns blocking in the six years box, they hardly troubled Walton. The same can be said at the other end, with Harness hitting the woodwork and Morsy scuffing a good chance our best efforts aside from the goal. I agree about Hirst, he put himself about but has yet to show he can recreate the form that got him 15 goals last season. It was a cameo and we get a better idea of what he can do over time.

After the break we looked much better, he was getting in good areas, hit the bar, working hard and doing his defensive duties. We won a few corners and had some decent possession, Burns scored a great goal and I thought we had them on the ropes. The changes came a bit early for me, seemed to disrupt our flow at a time when they weren't really threatening and we were looking capable of adding a 2nd.

Thought Harness played really well and don't get the criticism of him from some people. Was genuinely surprised when he came off. Ladapo had an excellent first half in particular I thought though it was no shock when he was subbed as that seems the routine. Burns was just, well Burns. Alhough he sometimes drifts out of the game, he's always a threat as he proved. Personally, would have replaced him with Jackson as he could have been lethal on the counter attack when Plymouth were pushing forward. I though the last half hour was crying for Aluko. Didn't get his exclusion from the bench. [Post edited 16 Jan 2023 11:08]

After the goal and before the lengthy injury break it was spine-tingling

Just a pity the excellent Morsy scuffed the chance and their keeper managed to save just ! Sam actually mouthed sorry to Hirst which was noticed by some in North stand lower .
