Best away of the season without a doubt 20:28 - Mar 11 with 2275 viewsMach_foreignBlue

Total domination on the pitch. Noisy away end. Not a single word of criticism can be said about any player. A truly statement win.

To top it off all of that against Bolton. Can't stand them since 2000.

One player I'd like to mention in particular. Luongo. If all of the central midfielders are fit and ready to play there is no way he can be dropped. He was truly outstanding. He was like a experienced professor in the middle.

I would say him and Morsy dovetail better than Morsy / Evans, and that’s saying something isn’t it!

Luongo has turned around our season. Cameron Humphries is a talent, but we’ve looked different gravy since Luongo came in. Him and Morsy give us such a solid base to build from.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

I too still have a hatred with Bolton. 2x Play Offs and the 4-1 in 2002 main reasons.

They'll always be the Norwich of the North to me, not Sheff U.

Luongo is like a more creative Morsy, also better at more central creativity which is something we have very much lacked, Evans can spray the ball around but doesn’t often split the lines with passes.

Long May he stay fit.

The only Muff in Town.

Given his lack of game time this season getting 90+ out of him today was a massive bonus. Didn't look like he'd run out of steam at the end either.

Massimo Luongo is undroppable. Well and truly.

Never have we looked that really solid in the middle as we do with him this season.

Good luck to McKenna when all Evans, Camara and Ball are fit and eager to play.

Absolutely loved it. Felt like a big win with Plymouth getting beaten, it really is up for grabs now.

Only gripe is the tedious slagging off wherever we're playing and their fans. "You're just a bus stop in (insert name of local rival)" "Your support is ****ing ****" Yawn. I was really embarrassed by "We pay your benefits". Can't we just support OUR team. Anyway, every set of fans does it so it's not going to stop I suppose and it didn't spoil my enjoyment of a brilliant day.

I just don’t get our supporters, they absolutely baffle me

They’ll absolutely piss their pants in excited at singing songs like this, yet you try and start something a little less pathetic and they look at you like you’ve arrived from the moon

Totally agree. I was with my daughter, it was her first away game and after the first outing of 'Bolton's a s**thole', I explained to her that there was a moron songbook that would be worked through and lo and behold they proved me right. Along with the Delia obscenity a couple of times.

Why can't we just support the team? That's what we've apparently turned up to do. If we're going to have a go at the opposition or their locality, let's at least make it original.

Other than that, as you say - a brilliant day. Thought the boys were fantastic from start to finish and I appear to have developed another Town fan.

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.
