Was definitely top of my list of things to be concerned about when I woke up this morning.
They are getting desperate now!

It’s the desperate sound of straws being clutched to appeal to the fickle “Red Wall” voters in the lead up to the next General Election.Expect a race to the bottom over the next 12 months

Let's hope Sunak doesn't know the lyrics of the Ramones song Carbona Not Glue, or he'll be making cleaning solvent, glue, paint and cockroach spray Class B drugs.

I came across the following tweet from Lord Sikka yesterday who seems remarkably radical for an accountant.

"Rishi Sunak promises anti-social behaviour crackdown.

Start with those who wrecked the economy; caused corruption, 7.2m NHS waiting list; killed 335k (2012-2019) with austerity, cut real wages.

Will Sunak, Johnson. Truss, May and Cameron be prosecuted?"

Sikka also said:

‘Tory Minister Michael Gove says the UK is now poorer because of the Ukraine war & Covid. NO. Other countries are affected by that too but have not gone downhill like the UK. The real reasons are Brexit, Tory austerity, profiteering & corruption.’

Sikka is spot on. I saw the clip of Gove on the news and he did say the above. Gove was Brexit minister at the key time when contingency planning was being made for no deal Brexit 2018/19. He was directly involved in some of the more difficult stuff and knows exactly what its impact was likely to be and is.

Gove is not an unintelligent insect so showed his shameless contempt for the people with his distortion, lies, omissions and failure to take responsibility for the completely unnecessary actions by himself and his people so well summarised by Sikka.

Edit: he forgot one. Investment in this country hit the buffers in 2016. There is zero investment now and no prospect of any. The country is literally falling apart. Perhaps that pimple Gove would like to explain the coincidence, why and what they are doing about it beyond trying to mug off the plebs on a tv programme.

The only reason laughing gas is being clamped down on is because of littering. That's the antisocial behaviour that's bothering people, not the consumption of it.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

Not all of them. There was that conservative MP Neil Parish caught enjoying a little …..’light entertainment’ on his phone in the HoC. First and only time, I’m sure 😃😅🤣😂🥲. ‘A moment of madness’ while he was searching for information on tractors. Yeah, right.

As one of the pannelists on Politics Live said this lunchtime, if the Tories are going to criminalise everything that leads to litter in parks I'd be worried if I worked at McDonalds.

"Prosecuting beggars" - and therefore by definition, homeless people sitting on their sleeping bags in town & city centres, hoping for hot drinks & sandwiches.

Woke up heard the news, shouted at the radio. How about tories just actually build affordable/social housing & give people a living wage so they don't have to take to the streets 🤬
