Could we see 30,000 there

I genuinely believe we could fill it to watch it on big screens ?

I'm hoping that if us & Plymouth are home & hosed they'll go for Weds vs Derby as that has more riding on it.

I'd assume that would have been in the case of promotion having gone down to the final day.

It may still be the case.

Poll: Who would you play at right centre back on Saturday?

Probably better off beaming Saturday back to the practice pitch with the amount of people asking me to get them a ticket!

Not sure the bars could handle 50,000 inside PR though.

Indeed.

If we seal it on Saturday, though, I imagine it'll be full steam ahead with the pitch works as of 9am Monday morning, which would probably preclude any sort of beam-back.

That was my thinking as well.

If they did it via an in-house setup, rather than hooking up iFollow to some big screens, I imagine you'd overcome any 'lag' issues as well.

Yeah it's also not all that easy to manage logistically. Staffing at late notice, security etc for rotas that are set up to assume Saturday is the final time this season fans will be inside the ground. As you say various works could start on Monday without having to consider the access and disruption that a beam back would cause.

TBH I think if we do the business Saturday, which I expect us to, then there will of course be interest in the final game and the chance of winning the title / hitting 100 points, but I would think a beam back is more hassle than it's worth at that point.

I suppose it would be no different from the play off sides who finish fifth or sixth? They may not know when they’re playing until around half two on 7th May and, for the team in 6th, the first leg is the following Friday. For fifth, it’s the Saturday.

As it is, we have eleven days to organise something if we start now.

As for the pitch, if the dreaded thing happens and Wednesday claim a top two place over us, then it’d have to wait until after 20th May anyway.

It wouldn't be any different, but the juice is well worth the squeeze for a playoff game and you don't really have a choice in it. To opt in to arranging a beam back for, what, a few thousand paying a fiver might be deemed more hassle than it's worth given the other things going on over an already tight close / pre season timeline.

Sorry, should have been clearer. My no was directed at the OP that we could get 30k to watch the game on a screen at PR.

If the title is still on the line, then I would imagine both games will be on Sky.

An alternative option would be for iFollow to do a deal with Fleetwood and ITFC to be allowed to sell one off Licences to pubs. There would be demand in Ipswich, and across Suffolk for that matter.
