Would Jonson Clarke-Harris be a decent alternative? Can’t say that I know that much about him other than last night and the two games against us.

Don't think he's really the same type of player, don't think he does the chasing that McKenna requires.
He's also going to be 29 when the season starts and would cost quite a bit so wouldn't seem to fit into the model being used by the club for transfers.
I'd be surprised.

Yes don’t think he quite has the mobility we need. Can’t really see a scenario where we don’t get him - we’ll pay the fee and Leicester will want the £, and have a load of players ahead of him whatever league they’re in. |  | | |

Not for me. Lacks mobility and, dare I say it, looks like he’s carrying some timber. I can’t see him pressing from the front, which KM seems to value. He’s a decent finisher in the right set up, but probably needs a more direct style of play | |

For me he's clearly talented, not dissimilar to Ladapo but probably a more natural goalscorer
Personally I'd prefer a work horse who can run the channels and occupy defenders, I reckon we will try and get Hirst and one other potentially

Absolutely not.. and I would expect the Club to have a similar viewpoint.
JCH was a bit of a troublemaker having some run ins with the law in his adolescence and still rolls in some of those same circles.
Talented player and may not be quite the tear away he used to be, but I think our recruitment is more holistic now and don’t think we would take risks on players temperaments etc that we perhaps used to (Chopra, Taylor etc.) |  | | |
