Bellingham confirmed at Real Madrid.. 16:47 - Jun 14 with 1273 viewsBigCommon

Shame to see one of England's brightest talents playing abroad. Would liked to have seen him give The Prem a go.... 88 million, you'd assume that Birmingham will be due a chunk of that?

Where's the money coming from?

I'm sure they will spend another £100m+ on a striker to replace Benzema.

Truly impaired.

Is it though? For years - our players never experienced playing abroad and I think it's great more and more are.

You can easily argue that had Bellingham not gone abroad, would he have developed as well here?

Given that it may be Mbappe, this summer rather than next, it could end up being more than that once all costs are taken into account.

Great news he's going there to develop and improve rather than the prem imo. The guy is a superstar and adding a couple of Champions League medals to his cabinet will give him the winners mentality.

Good for him. Hopefully for his own sake he’ll stay away from the prem for as long as possible

My hobbies include being quiet during trips, clapping with songs, and diabetes.

I saw Real Madrid vs Celta Vigo earlier in the year. It's amazing how slow Spanish football is. Literally played at walking pace.

Great talent though.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

About time our players started playing abroad.

England might finally actually win something.

Good move for everyone

If more of that 'golden generation' of Lampard, Gerrard, Scholes etc had risked something and moved to Italy or Spain then they might actually have been able to adapt to different systems.

They were all too comfortable.

Would have preferred to see him in the Prem. Playing abroad is fine, it's just that Madrid seldom seems to work that well for British players, largely because such a big portion of their fanbase are vile.
